How to Use
- Place your prepared ingredients (e.g., chicken, herbs, vegetables) and liquid into the inner ceramic stew pot and cover it with its lid.
- Set the included iron rack inside a larger outer pot (such as a stockpot or pressure cooker).
- Place the sealed ceramic stew pot onto the rack.
- Add water to the outer pot. The water level should come up the sides of the ceramic pot but remain below its lid to prevent water from getting inside.
- Cover the outer pot and bring the water to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
- Allow it to gently steam for the desired cooking time (typically 2-4 hours or more).
Care & Safety
- Handle with care, as ceramic can crack or break if dropped.
- To prevent thermal shock and cracking, avoid exposing the hot pot to cold water or surfaces. Allow it to cool down gradually before washing.
