How to Use

1. **Pre-heat Carefully**: Before introducing the rod to the direct flame, always warm the tip in the cooler, outer part of the flame. Heating the glass too suddenly can cause thermal shock and may cause it to shatter.

2. **Adjust Your Flame**: An overly rich gas flame (too much fuel) can cause a dark film to form on the glass surface. Adjust for a clean, neutral flame.

3. **Control Oxygen Flow**: Too much oxygen can introduce unwanted bubbles into your work. If using an oxygen concentrator, a flow rate of around 3.5 L/min is a good starting point.

4. **Shape and Create**: Once the glass reaches a molten, honey-like consistency, you can begin shaping it.

5. **Anneal Properly**: To ensure the long-term stability and strength of your finished piece, anneal it in a kiln at the recommended temperature of 520°C.
