How to Use

1. Fill the gourd (cup) about one-half to two-thirds full with Playadito Yerba Mate leaves.

2. Cover the top of the gourd with your palm, turn it upside down, and shake gently. This helps bring the finer particles to the top.

3. Tilt the gourd so the leaves form a slope on one side, creating an empty space.

4. Gently pour a small amount of cool or warm water into the empty space to moisten the leaves. Let it sit for a minute to absorb.

5. Insert the bombilla (straw) into the empty space, resting the filter end against the bottom of the gourd.

6. Pour hot water (around 160-180°F / 70-80°C, never boiling) over the leaves.

7. Sip through the bombilla, enjoy, and refill the gourd with hot water multiple times as you drink.
