These pots are designed for water-bath stewing or steaming. They are not intended for direct heat on a stovetop.

1. Place your ingredients and liquid inside the ceramic stew pot and cover it with its lid.

2. Set the small pot inside a larger pot, such as a stockpot or steamer.
