How to Use

1. Light one end of the moxa stick with a lighter or candle until it glows red and begins to smolder.

2. Gently blow on the tip to ensure it is evenly lit.

3. Hold the lit end approximately 1-2 inches away from the desired area or acupuncture point. **Do not touch the skin directly with the stick.**

4. Move the stick in a slow, circular motion or hold it steady to apply warmth for 5-15 minutes per area, or as directed by a qualified practitioner.

5. Periodically tap away the ash into a fire-safe container to maintain a clean burn and consistent heat.

6. When finished, extinguish the moxa stick completely by placing it in a dedicated moxa extinguisher or a jar filled with sand or salt until it is no longer smoking.
